jmweb got it but then again he is Canadian. Isn't hockey required viewing over there?
 Hockey is big here in Minnesota also but no Wild this year in the playoffs. I like Tampa Bay but I usually wait into later in the playoffs. Too many teams make it to the playoffs for me to get excited this early on. |

Karen, I believe this thread indicates that they are NOT ready to rumble just yet. I was thinking college basketball myself, heh. They have hockey here but since it's warm, for me it's hard to get into. When I lived in CT and NH it was more in line with the area.

I hate to disagree with you Vito, but Goooooooo Senators.
I'm actually a Habs fan so my first allegiance is to them, but when they get eliminated it's all Senators.

Some countries have conscription, Canada has something else. In Canada we are forced to sit in front of a monitor for 2 weeks straight when we turn 19 and watch hockey. Then for 2 weeks afterwords we go and play in a rink. Those of us who suck at it go back for 2 more weeks, those who don't can go back home. Thankfully I lasted 16 days.
