what would you look for in a reseller hosting provider?

This isn't an advert, we're looking for some feedback from people who already use reseller accounts to try and work out how we can best help provide the best service.

We are currently deciding on what to provide customers with for our reseller offering.

However, before we head off in the wrong direction we thought it would be a good idea to consult people to find out what exactly people who would buy a reseller account are looking for.

So - what are you guys looking for?

What control panel do you prefer to use and offer your customers?
What kind of features are you looking for?
What horror stories have put you off other hosts and give us an idea of how to offer the best service?
If you're currently happy with your reseller hosting provider, is there anything that could tempt you away from them?

We will also be offering virtual private servers as the next step up from reseller hosting - again, what would people be looking for?

We don't expect to be the cheapest in this area, but we are looking to provide an excellent service to customers that provides what people want and need, rather than endless and sometimes useless features.
