Sago Networks DC (Tampa) WOW!!!
Hello. HostNetway Internet Solutions is at this moment at the Managed.com facility in San Jose, California. We signed up with one of there resellers, AngelNetworkz. Now, I must say that the data center has been having some network glinches in and out, so me and my partner are now moving to another data center, where is it more dependable, and where the support is great.
Once we posted on HostHideout, we received a PM from one of their representatives, and thank god we did. He gave us a great offer that we just could not sure down, and decided to buy the new server at their Tampa Data Center (Yes, they own there own data centers with 99.999% uptime). We did many speed test with there networks, and it just couldn't even be a competition with the Managed.com facility at all... I mean the speeds are just unbeleivable! Now, I know you may be thinking, 'Well, they uploaded files on THERE server so that it can appear fast", but not in this case. The packets came from the some of the users who have a box with them. No one doesn't seem to talk about this data center much on HostHideout, but I do beleive it is time to look into Sago Networks for those who need a better DC.
Also, the support team is unbeleivable. I sent a test support inquiry at 1:20 AM EDT, and got a reply within 5 minutes! No joke.... meanwhile at AngelNetworkz, it would be about an hour until we got a response, and normally short answeres.
To conclude, if you are looking for a kicking DC with great uptime, reliabilty, the best support team, and great *custom* prices, you should really consider going to them. And you may want to contact there sales agent here on HostHideout too, or just make a Request, and pray that he will see your request. :-D
I beleive it is worth it!!!
BTW, does anyone on HostHideout own a box with them? Can they tell us there experience?
Thanks

Whats interesting is that their datacenter is an old supermarket in the back of a shopping center. I'm not saying this is good or bad, just that it was interesting that they took that space and made the conversion.
They are well funded by some big guys with deep pockets too. They are also not to far from the Qwest Cyber Center there in Tampa as well.
There is also another DC provider that is even less talked about and thats www.atlantic.net We have a cage there and have had ZERO network downtime.

Wow, can you give me more information just on...... I don't know, stuff about what you hear about them..??
Also, it seems that all the Data Centers that are less talked about are the best. Stange but I must admit that it is true. I mean look at Managed.... support is horible.....and they are having network glinches right now, and I don't mean 'regular'.... they are having them constantly! I have not heard not one bad review on Sago. BTW, I also find it interesting how they are in a super market. Although they are, they still have good speeds, and exceptional services.
Here is a speed test....

I have been to the building so what do you want to know?
Also on their site, if you look at the image of the front of the building, that is a typical supermarket type building here in the US.
I'm not discounting them or anything or calling it bad, just figured you might want to know.
You are talking about Sago right? lol or Atlantic?

I have been looking for a server for a while now. I have sent in two emails to their sales team. And I have not had 1 responce yet. These emails were sent on Mon June 28th and Thurs July 1st. I am still waiting on responces. So far they are not sounding that appealing to me right now even though they are like 20 minutes away from where I live. Just my 2 cents though.

Hello,
I think the only downfall is whether or not you can pay via credit card or paypal.. Managed.com is owned by racklogic.com, hence the reason why they are the same servers. But the ping times are usually really high..
I know of various dedicated server companies who offer reliable uptime but pricing is normally the issue. We've been at theplanet now for awhile and have had no trouble at all. And the $199.00 xeons with 0 setup are nicely priced with cpanel only being an aded $25.00.. theplanet also has servermatrix as well with budget servers..
Overall, The best server deals are not made known to the public. You'd need to email Datacenter's like Peer1 or Equinix and ask them to put you in contact with someone who owns servers in their Noc.. Just be sure to inquire about the control panel you are after.
Regards,
Chris

Yes I visited the DC last July as a backup plan for where we currently are in Tampa. When I was there it was just before all the major works had got under way although they were certainly starting to regenerate the place in a major way. I have to say though, despite it being an old furniture store, they've certainly done a splendid job on it IMO, especially viewing the new pictures they have up now...

It actually does look like a food store, like a Grand Union or Shop Rite and I think they want you to know it. Cafeteria Style Co-Location Packages hehe

But don't let that fool you. There networks are better than Managed.com it seems now. And support well beats them.

Hey about the thing Managed being owned by racklogic. From what they told me:
-----------------------------------------------
(K.K.)
-----------------------------------------------
The only affiliation Managed.com has to Racklogic is that they are our hardware providers.
Best Regards,
Managed.com

LOL, funn thing....
Ever since I made this thread, and told Sago Networks about it, they realize they have a great potential of getting clients on here. I see one of there reps have started posting on HHO.
