Merchant Account Info Needed! (And info on paysystems!!) AND info on billing systems
First off, can anyone vouch for paysystems reliability ease of use and things such as that please?

Secondly, does anyone know of any merchant account providers that will provide to people overseas (Im in the UK).

And thirdly, any merchant accounts WITHOUT a reserve? As most have 5-10% reserve or $35 reserves.

Oh and one more thing, please recommend a highly reliable billing program. An actual executable for windows system or php for a server.

A virtual terminal for the merchant account would be a great added perk

I use paysystems but am getting a real merchant account within the next 30-60 days. I haven't had any problems with them, just don't particularly like 3rd party processors and found a great deal on a real merchant account. Check out www.clientbilling.com for a great deal on an Authorize.NET merchant account with no setup fee. I think they're owned by ClientExec but not sure.

That looks brilliant. SADLY... im a UK resident and business is to be registered in UK. Plus i have no US checking account - if i did i could prolly just open a small office up in the US lol.

Any ideas on other REAL merchant acoutns or third parties for UK residents?

Also if any have NO RESERVE on their accounts?

I was lurking around for one for a friend in Canada. I think I found one the other day for a one in UK. Adam, I'll dig for it and let you know when I find it. God it has been so long I may not even have it anymore. I told you before PaySystems would be good and you know that much via our previous conversations.

good information - pay system seems one of the best so far but I have seen lower % - but again its in the US therefore no good to man nor beast if you live in the UK - the only thing I can think of doing for a decent rated merchant account is leaving the UK and migrating to the US - Adam you with me on that

Unfortunately for others in the world, the Internet was started in the US and gained it's popularity here... so most of the services and products available first became available here. They eventually find their way to other countries but a vast majority of Internet businesses are still operated out of the US or targeting US businesses/consumers. We still consist of the vast majority of internet users as well...

It'll even out eventually... as the net access explodes everywhere on the planet

Yeah Tim i remember - our conversation was about 9 months ago if i remember rightly! I purchased a paysystems accuotn and at that time i was not very happy with it - for one it took ages for the underwriting to complete and then there was that nice fat bug in recurringbilling.

Hence why i am asking current paysystems customers how reliable it is now.

I am pondering on geting a real merchant account with Streamline or Barclays Merchant Services, but then for a web interface i'd probably use SECPay.com istnead of Barclays own "ePDQ".

Third party one's generally i dont like because of the rates but sometimes when you have to get started quickly, there's not many options open.

i need some major help with paysystems
my site works wonders with payflow pro, but the problem is is that i'm here in canada and the only way to get merchant id number here that i know of is through your bank. and because my business accout does not trade more then 500,000 per year they want 10,000 deposit so i'm forst to use paypal, but i'm loosing 10 orders a day because of it

i realy need something diferent
