I've run into a company that offers creative, marketing and Internet services all in one package. I have to pay for the package at a monthly rate and in return I receive a certain number of "hours". I can apply these hours toward the aforementioned services.

For example I sign up for package A which gives two hours of service a month for $100. One month I can apply those hours to a press release distribution and a new graphic for my web site. Another month I can apply the two hours to a marketing campaign assessment and a quick web development job.

Does this sound like something I should sign up for? Would you sign up for it? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi hsosof,

The concept is def intrigueing -

Im always a little weary of marketing firms - but, that isnt to say that a good one wont provide value and wont be worth the money. They sure as heck will be...

See if you can get the to structure a customized results based campaign for you. Also, check with current customers and see what their results are..

If your intention is simply to have an "outsourced" resource to handle press releases and marketing design - while you take on the responsibility for direction and results, then maybe its a good fit (this is just a simple equation of what yor time and skill set is to perform the above mentioned services vs what the service costs and the relative skillset youll get back)

However, if youre looking for results driven marketing, I would ask them to approach their proposal in such a manner..

Hope this helps..
