I just moved to LivePerson from PHP Live!, it seems the LivePerson is much more better...

But which one do you prefer :)?

PHP Live!

I never got a chance to test out LivePerson because it is so expensive!

"You get what you paid for" eh? :)

Yeah in LivePerson you really get what you pay for, they have really great Support, and they are assisting me in everything I need...

so those $99/M is worth it ;)

$99/mo? Wow.

We are planning on using phplivesupport.

PHP Live = phplivesupport, they were Ok, but the program, I didn't like it...

LivePerson just is more easy and more nicer to use and has a nice desktop program...
And very nice people to work with...

yea but $99/mo?

I dont think its worth $99/Mo.

yeah $99, but Worth it... let's say I buy phplivesupport in $59.99/M with unlimited operators, but you don't get a desktop program, desktop program costs another $69, and It isn't really easy to use, what it does, only connects you to the page you go from the browser...

I took the Desktop program, because I hated the other thing to go in the browser, and also I took the $159.99 downloadable version, in LivePerson you get a desktop program, much more better, better live support, tech help if you need anything, in $99, so what is better? $59.99 without a desktop program and a bit more conflicated program or a $99 easy-to-use program, support around the clock ;)?

We just have an irc room and use an irc client to connect aswell as having a web based client for customers.

Works a treat. Also got all our servers in there reporting status each hour.

PhpLiveHelper is what we use. One time $79 fee - well worth the cost.

We found PhpLive was horrible on system resources especially when you have a busy site. The code was somewhat sloppy.

Anyone tried Chattist? I am interested in this program and would like to hear feedback!

We use phplivehelper from http://www.turnkeywebtools.com. It is very good and the new V1.6 has just been released with loads of new features. They are releasing a windows app soon also.

They seem to have a bad program, I saw it in a hosting site, and I think It's just a copy of phplivesupport...

Check the new version of LiveResponse, It's AWESOME!

I'm puzzled. How difficult or buggy is this thing that it would require enough support that you would actually be able to rate them on it?

I've used several of these chat things (including LivePerson) and never had to contact them except for sales matters.

Powertalk and Chattist are both good, btw.

You have a choice. $99 one time fee is to place it on your servers. $19.99/month is to have it running on their servers.

I agree their newest version 1.6 is the nicest GUI i've seen for a chat system in a while. And I love the real time stats

I use chattist. Got it on a WHT special (www.chattist.com/orderwht.php I believe). No web client, but it comes with a Win2k/XP client. Works well, logs everything. Worth the $59!

Err, and besides no web client, the other thing I didnt like was, you cant popup a window with your text to a browser. All you can do is popup the screen asking them for a Name, and department.

I've used phplivesupport for 60$/month, but then I’ve found LiveOperator from company ISPserver. It costs only 30$/month but it's also very cool. I'm very happy with it; support team is also at very high quality level!

Another very economical solution is from www.clickchatsold.com
Its a good tool, allows multiple connections (users) and is extremely economical.

Chattist support has disappeared. I would be leary of purchasing this software.

We are moving shortly to phplive.

I sent an email two months ago and forgot that I had sent it. I was cleaning my sent items and realized they never responded.

BTW the Chattish just up and quit working one day for no reason :(

I'm using LiveReponse from Kayako (http://www.kayako.com/). Works great and they have a lot of different options for either purchasing a license or leasing.
