View Full Version : DNS (ns1.tp.com / ns2.tp.com) blocked from MSN/Hotmail - How do I fix?

A few of my IPs on one of my ThePlanet boxes use their DNS: ns1.theplanet.com and ns2.theplanet.com. Hotmail/MSN must have blocked them, because on my order form I use automatic email generation and my @hotmail.com and @msn.com customers get a bounced email. I then have to do it manually and it's very annoying. Is there any way to call MSN/Hotmail and explain the situation? Please include a phone number if you know one, because I've looked all through both sites and I can't find one anywhere. Also, I use to also be blocked from @yahoo.com, but I added an rDNS and that took care of that problem. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello Spencer,

I think we should start with the bounce back message. The bounce back should not have anything to do with the blocking of dns servers.

This has been fixed. :)

Thanks, though.

Spencer,

What was the problem and how did you fix it? It'd be good if you wrote it down here for a reference to other guys who may get this problem in the future etc.

You can't fix it yourself... you just have to submit a ticket to ThePlanet and supposedly they talk to MSN and MSN fixes it. So, I'm still waiting, but there's nothing I can do on my end.
