Hello, I have a http server on my laptop for testing purposes of php scripts. I am wondering if anybody knows of any decent free email software so I can test the email parts of the scripts that I am working with. The type of scripts are like authorization emails for the site. If you can help me out that would be great. Thanks!

If you are running Windows NT, 2000 or XP PRO just install IIS. Be sure to turn off the web server, but the smtp server works great IMHO, and would be an easy fix.

Daniel,
To install IIS insert your windows cd and then goto Control Panel - > Add Remove Programs -> Windows Components then add it there, not sure if its runs under XP home just wanted to make sure you were looking in the right place. Another thing you can do is just goto http://www.download.com/ and search for "SMTP server" under windows. Good luck!
