I did a grand total of seven or eight months of lurking on WebHostingTalk before signing up, didn't take me that long here at HHO. Anyway just posting to say 'hi' to the regulars.

I had a little thought as I was signing up, WHT was so pivotal to the growth of HostRocket/MCHost and UnitedHosting to name a few, I wonder what impact HHO will have. I look forward to finding out.

I actually found this place whilst I was working on a little pet project of mine. It was supposed to be a throwback to the old 'host investigator' days mixed in with some of my own ideas.

Glad you made it :D As for impact, we're aiming to take the hosting world by storm, increase the ability for hosts to communicate with others in their industry, and help startup hosts and smaller hosts develop their businesses. One day I need to finish that mission statement, eh? ;)

Actually, not that unusual. I'm sure a good percentage of their 'clicks' are from people wanting to have a good laugh and remember the days when CI thought they were a web hosting leader. :D
