Server security?

Could THAT fit in here? Only thing I can think of atm which is not covered by the above forums. So, what do you guys do to SECURE your servers against attacks and such?

I would say it could fit in here :). Some of the few following things we do to secure our server's:

Keep all software/patches updated.
Delete all binaries and installing only the ones used/needed.
Monitor the servers.
These are just some ways to make a server more secure. Does anyone else have any input :)?

Unfortunately this isn't a two step process. Keeping a machine secure isn't only done by keeping the machine up to date, but you also have to think of how your network has been implemented, who you have working for you, etc.
