Chinese Chicken Salad... mmmmm, so delicious, except when my wife makes it (note: usa=ually she makes most things fine, and I can only cook cold cereal). It tasted like strips of chicken pieces, iceberg lettuce and soy sauce. Which is OK, if that's what you're aiming for, but...

Anyone know how to make a mean Chinese chicken salad? I want ingredients, steps, pictures if need be, but not another chickensoyberg salad if possible.

Also, how do you cook cold cereal?

I was wondering the same thing operator. Maybe he heats the milk up in the microwave? I'm alright at cooking, I never did think cooking should be considered a talent however for a guy ;-)

I like my cereal cold ;).

The only thing I can do is go out and eat, even the microwave is a disaster!

Continuing OT:
I'm not lactose untolerant (I guess thats the way you say that), but I hate milk. So I either eat my cereal with water (which isn't really that bad) or whole milk, then dump it out.

Have you made this recipe? And I cook it by pouring it in the bowl and topping it with ice cold milk. Unless of course you are eating Cap'n Crunch, in which case I use chocolate milk. Yum!

Lactose intolerant.. I unfortunately am.

I have this lactose free milk I use with cereal, etc.. to get the taste; think of UHT milk with a few tablespoons of sugar. It was disgusting when I first started with it (but better than soy milk); these days it doesn't bother me.

As for the chinese chicken salad - I've had that before; it's quite delicious but I couldn't cook to save myself.

Even though my parents are Chinese, I have only tried this dish for a couple of times at the most. [/embarrassed]

Just found this at Google:

Looks nice!

Can't help on the salad, sorry. (I cook a lot, but Chinese is not one of the things I do well.)

Cereal? Cinnamon Toast Crunch with a glass of milk on the side. Yummy!

That is why <insert religious deity of your choice> invented Cap'n Crunch (with chocolate milk only mind you!) and Lucky Charms. Mmmmm... they're magically delicious. As my 3rd graders say: "For reals!" I have no idea why they add an 's' there, but it amuses me.
