As host visiting these forums, are there any areas (forums) which you feel could be combined to make things easier to follow? Are you confused as to where to post something, due to simularities or confusing descriptions? Any other suggestions?

or

As an end-user of hosting services, are there any confusing things you've noticed? Can you suggest some forums that would appeal to you? Anything that you'd like to discuss with other end-users that isn't covered already?

Just looking for some last minute input before some changes (this month sometime).

I think the setup is just fine as it is.
Maybe combine server software and control panels.

Nah you're missing some forums.. if I could add the following, they would be:

"Customers who I can do without"

"The Other Forums"

and my favorite

"Best ways to pick up women"

I think the forums cover everything: all the different topics are there, there are forums for advertising but not too many. Looks good.

In the "end-user" area, probably the most useful information would be regarding hosting companies, domain names and control panels. There are already forums about domain names and control panels, so that's already a done deal I think, but maybe some sort of a "Host Reviews" type of area would be good. A place to ask "Anyone know anything about XYZ Host?" etc. Kind of nice to keep all that sort of stuff in one area.

I think that would be a good idea debbie. it would be a lot easer for people who are looking for info about a web host to just look for a forum topic called web host reviews. and would help keep the clutter down in the main web hosting forum.

Yes, this would be good, and probably inside the Community Forums section (which may be moved to the top, above the host forums). Some forums may be moved into the community forums and made a bit more general (for example the mentioned Domains forum). I don't think it would be a problem having a bit of mixed end-user and host issues there. The Reseller and Affiliate Forum seems to be not all that popular, so this too might be made more general and moved into the community forums area. We'll try a few things, if it doesn't work, we'll rethink it again.
