Hi, i use google alot and today it seams weired, when i searched hosthideout out i got the results

Search For HOSTHIDEOUT On Crawler.com

Starting to get worried now i searched for Mihost123 and still i got the same results

You may want to run a more detailed anti-virus scan RIGHT AWAY. Good luck.

ye, - using Adaware, and Norton now - hopefully that will find the problem - if not im looking on google for some awnsers - seeing if others have had this problem.

try spybot search and destroy, better. also, listen to www.onlinetonight.net they are good if you have xm radio or a am station its on.

EDIT- all gone now (apart from the virus) i think it was a tracking cookie or something like that, well thanks for all your help.

Thanks for the link - ill try them out, also thanks to the mod who moved it, i didn't realise where i was :D

Did a scan and ound loads of spyware, deleted it and no more problems.

That W32.PINFI virus is a real bugger. You might have gotten the virus previous to your format as it infects all your .exe files. If you save copies of your programs and were to restore the programs from your previous installation you would reactivate the virus.

Another online virus scan you can use is TrendMicro's 'HouseCall' which has always been reliable for me in the past.

It seams to come back every so often, some searches aren't affected, i have e-mailed all the companies telling them what i think of their search engine, no reply. ITs really annoying because i keep clicking on the links, then all these popups come up which really annoys me, oh, well i'm getting a new HArd Drive for my Birthday, so hopefully that wont be infected.
