Well it seems I've gained about 10 pounds because of this nice big monitor. To many projects and no free time, why not snack while you're just sitting there

What are some of your favourite computer food and drinks?
What do you always much on?

I find myself eating at least TWICE as much when I'm on the computer - I have a big fridge beside me so that's probably why :D

Hopefully with the summer on the way I can get outside and work what I left for muscles  Oh yeah shake it bananna boy :D

Well I'm hungry - lets go see what my fridge has in it!

------========-----
Steves munchie list

- Bits and Bytes
These things are golden! They're like a party mix but come in flavours, I like the orginal the best - great for snacking!

- Chips chips and chip?
Yep you can't just have one. I sit down and eat most of the bag. Salt and vinigar are my fav :D

- Barques Root Beer and Ice Tea
I go through these by the gallon!

- Odd enough I do sneak an few apples in here and there
:bs: - ok well maybe not as often as I should

The other essential thing is music - I made a threat about what you're listening to right now to see what other people are into.

Without food and music where would we be!? ;)

Strange thing is I rarely eat or snack at the computer. If I do it is just some pretzels or something. BUT, when I am sitting down I have to have something to drink. Just have to! In the morning and most of the day it is coffee. When it gets too warm for coffee it is ice water or the occsasional soda. Then at night when there isn't much work to be done it is a few cold brews.

Me thinks this could be having a direct effect on your eating habits, yes. As I don't do the shopping 'round these parts, I don't have the luxury of acting having regular computer snacks. It is more of a search and destroy mission really.

I munch a bit here and there. I have some Mike & Ikes, Runts, Creame Savers and also had some sour gummy worms around too but they are all gone now, same with the jelly beans... Once in a while I have some Cheetos or Fritos in here too, but not too often.

MEALS I eat in the dining room at the table. I actually cook real meals from scratch and it's much nicer to get off the puter for a while and sit at the table with real in-the-flesh people at least once a day anyway.

Water and Diet Vanilla Coke. Sometimes Wheat Thins or Microwave Kettle Corn, but now that the baby is more mobile snacks at my desk don't sit well, err at all :).

allan, how is that Microwave Kettle Corn? I've had the real stuff (at the fairs), and the bagged stuff (seems decent), though never in the microwave (which tends to produce popcorn which has a funny taste and/or only a life of 10 minutes before becoming gross).

Its definitely not as good as the stuff you get at the fair, or in our case from the roadside stands. But it is not horrible either (at least not compared to some microwave popcorns I have tried) and it satisfies my craving for two major food groups: Sugar and Salt :).

I'm eating kosher for Passover chocolate chip cookies. They really seem to violate the spirit of Passover, but... ;) I don't normally keep kosher (I'm no more religious than most American Christians), but I sometimes try to during Passover.

Normally I like to have a nice cold drink while I'm on the computer, but I have to forego it all to often because the main fridge is downstairs and the extra one is in the basement. I gotta look around for a little one to stick under the desk and keep stocked with the "essentials" :D

I eat my lunch in front of the computer... also microwave kettle corn and sometimes ice cream. My eating doesn't increase when at the computer though, I'd have lunch, kettle corn and ice cream anyways. hehe. :)

Oddly enough, I eat less when working behind the computer. I have coffee at my desk in the morning and afternoon, but rarely bring food in. I think it may have something to do with the full cup of soup I spilled on my keyboard earlier in the year...:)

It's quite the opposite here.... I've lost 10 lbs because I'm on the computer 20 hours a day and I just... forget... to eat :s

My fav. snack while using the comp. at home is definitely Doritos and a Coke (ew, not vanilla). Fortunately I don't have either at home all that often though! At work, well, that's another story. :)

I very rarely eat anything at all while I'm sitting at my machine. I will always have something to drink though... drinks are necessary.

 That reminds me of the time I spilled a bourbon and Diet Coke on a keyboard. The keyboard never recovered. :p:
