What is the greatest song in the world that they sing? Name sounds familiar, but I tend to hear of new bands, years after they come out, heh. One knows they are old when they don't recognize but maybe one or two off the top 100 list, DOH!

I've heard of them but can't recall any specific song names. I don't think they've been around too long but I could be wrong as well.

His band Tenacious D wrote a song called "A tribute to the greatest song in the world"

The band is nothing special although it's definately done in true Jack Black fasion.

The song is called The Greatest Song in the World. It's very very funny, but 90% of his songs are Rated "R" hehe... lot's of 4 letter words :). Definately not a group I'd be playing in front of my daughter, but funny songs.

They have many good songs...the band is made up of Jack Black and Kyle Gas. They used to have a short tv show on HBO but it got cancelled, you can download the episodes though, they are quite funny.

Not a huge fan of their music (although, definitely funny), but Jack Black is hilarious in movies (especially "Orange County"). Didn't find him hysterical in "Shallow Hal", but still good. :)

I almost died laughing when I heard the track about ordering at a drive thru. The funny thing is that we were pulling into a fast food place drive thru while listening to it.
