Ok.. a 2 hour movie focused on a man standing in a phone booth, yea interesting? Not. the ENTIRE movie is based in the phone booth, except for the first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes.

The funniest parts are when the police arrive, other than that, don't waste your cash!

I thought they might make it interesting, in a Breakfast Club sort of way. Did you like that movie? Though I have to admit, when I saw that Phone Booth starred Forest Whitaker, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to see that one.

I love the Breakfast Club!!! Of course I was their target demographic when the movie came out, so my opinion may have been influenced by raging teenage hormones!

The Breakfast Club - Classic!! One of the funniest movies I've probably ever seen. Loved it.

Phone Booth - Saw it on VCD. Poor quality, poor sound, but still relatively enjoyed it. It was an interesting movie ... although, I thought it resembled Seven in a more one-dimentional way. Liked it, and would probably recommend it to people (although, I might suggest waiting for the rental release of it).

Took almost 10 minutes for VB to send me an email letting me know someone replied. I read your reply 10 minutes ago.

I forgot all about Breakfast Club. Before that I could think of only one other movie situated around only one real set. Chicken Run. And it sucked too.

I loved Breakfast Club though, between that and Better Off Dead I could have, and did, watch them over and over again when they came out on cable and VHS.

I doubt I'll ever see this Phone Booth movie. An action movie with one set. Not bloody likely!

I thought Chicken Run sucked pretty bad. I think the altime best comedy though is Ferris Bueler's day off (sp?)

Edit: I need to learn how to spell!

Don't waste your money on "Anger Management". Ending killed the whole thing!

Head of State is pretty funny, but plot sucks.

Better off Dead!! "I Want My $2.00"!!! That is one of my favorite movies -- I had such a crush on Diane Franklin (Monique). It was such an odd movie, and so eclectic. It was the first John Cusack movie I had ever seen, but it made me a big fan, and I see everyone of his movies (even America's Sweethearts :)).

I took a film class in high school and we discussed how hard it is to do movies that focus on a single set. The movie we used to demonstrate how it is was Hitchcock's Rope. The whole movie was filmed in an apartment. Rather than fading to black cutaways the way most movies do Hitchcock would focus on something dark and use that as a cutaway, so it looks like the action never stops. It is a really good movie, not just for the way it was filmed, but the plot is pretty gripping as well.

How about "Rear Window"? Another Hitchcock classic. That's my favorite of his.

And yeah, Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller were (still are) great!

I saw PHONE BOOTH and its quite stupid, the whole movie is the guy standing there..... (Just about (And @ the end they didnt even get the guy))

I smell a PHONE BOOTH 2 (Havent seen it yet though (Thankfully))

I actually enjoyed this movie, I've watched it 2-3 times.

It has a good amount of suspense and a very original story.
