Can't acsess secure sites.

Hi,

I cannot acsess secure webpages, these include amazon, msn servers, and the banks.

I have tried everything on the web and nothing works, has anyone else had anyproblems like this and how to i fix it, i am really annoyed at this, i can';t logon to msn or evem my bank account, please help.

I'm sure you've tried the standard deleting temp files, clearing cache, etc., etc... If not, of course do all of that. Another option may be to go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall IE. Of course, it never uninstalls but if you have the install files still on your drive, it will downgrade you to the version below what you're currently on. Then visit here (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp) and reinstall the latest version. Try that if the simple stuff doesn't work.

ye, thanks for the tip, if it doesn't work i may have to format my hardrive again ... but i'll try your idea first.

OK, tried everything possible, so the only thing to do is format my PC, thanks for all your help.
