APC Masterswitch

I have just bought 4 APC 9212's from a company that went under. I had another one and finally figured out how to configure the IP with arp (thanks to allan's help). But the problem is when I try to connect via telnet it says could not open connection. Any ideas?

be sure u dont have more then 1 session open, the apcs only allow 1 telnet session

I tried to connect only once and it didn't work.

is the telnet server turned on? its off by default. same with the web server.

Oh. How do I turn it on without serial?

Went to Tucson today to pick a few things up, and stopped by a computer store and got a cable. Configured it and it's running right now. These things are pretty kewl. Wish it would allow more then one user at a time though (does it on the user interface?)

nope, a few of my customers have logins and they cant login anytime someone else is logged in at the same time

Yeah, you should definately write an interface to work around that. Hmm...if you make it nice enough maybe you could sell it ;)

Got plans along that line. :D Going down to install one of these tomarrow in the DC so have to get something temp up for the time being.
