Please ignore this thread if you simply resell for another company like DedicatedNow, Nocster, ServerMatrix, etc and/or if you only have one bandwidth provider. Otherwise, please read on...

Server configs are based off of ServerMatrix.
No management required.

Please quote for the following setup:

Server 1
Dual 2.4 GHz Xeons
1024 MB RAM
Single 200 GB Hard Drive (or larger)
Dual Integrated NICs
-100 Mbps port connection to internet.
-100 Mbps (or faster) connection to Server 2, mentioned below.
1000 GB Bandwidth
5 IP Addresses
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Cpanel/WHM

Server 2
Dual 2.4 GHz Xeons
1024 MB RAM
Single 80 GB Hard Drive
Dual Integrated NICs
-10 Mbps port connection to Internet.
-100 Mbps (or faster) connection to Server 1, mentioned above.
1000 GB Bandwidth
5 IP Addresses
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Cpanel/WHM

We would prefer to pay a higher setup fee to reduce our monthly recurring charges where available.

Thanks for your time!

Are these game servers? Also do you really need the 1000GB of transfer.

I can do this easily. What is the content that will be on the servers?
We own all our own gear is I am not a reseller either.

Not gameservers. Most likely wont use anything close to the 1000 GB, would like to have it for the ability to grow. 99.99% of Server 2's traffic will be between Server 1 and itself and should have very little traffic directly from/to internet.

Like I said my configs were based off of ServerMatrix, thus the 1000GB bandwidth, etc.

Sorry, I didnt answer your question! This setup is for hosting www.fadmail.com

Server 1 will be the mail server and web server.

Server 2 will be the database server and a backup mail server.

I know this may be a weird question, but what is your monthly budget for this? Servers of this size can be costly.

Why I ask is in most cases people have very unrealistic pricing in their head when they toss out a request.

Like I said I'm looking for a lower monthly fee option. The above config with ServerMatrix works out to under $500/month.

is Cpanel a requirement or could you use another control panel. We just dont offer Cpanel as their licesning isnt that great and the fees are high.

Cpanel is not an absolute must, but is preferred. So feel free to throw your quotes at me with other control panels or without any at all.

mfjp,

Would that be XO only? If so, I'm not interested. If there is atleast two bandwidth providers in the mix, then I would be interested.

Now if you guys could post what I asked for, quotes, that would be great! :D

We have another feed coming up soon, but it's not done yet. We do run BGP ourself and do our routing ourself. Our AS is 30490. Maybe I'll contact you again when we have a second feed up.
