For anyone exploring options in Rich Internet and eForms applications, I'm taking new subcontract work in these areas.
For those unfamiliar with Rich Internet Apps, what I do is develop applications under .NET/Flash Remoting that would normally require a desktop environment, and port them to the web.
Recent examples include an application for immigration lawyers that bundles case management/forms prep with online questionnaires, a client extranet, billing/invoice and appointment system. Another example is an application for the Dept of Veterans Affairs that gives their field offices access to a centralized database and the ability to generate .pdf forms with info from that database using any computer with an Internet connection.
These applications often tie a dynamic backend (.NET, SQL Server and Flash Remoting) into Adobe Acrobat forms, giving users the ability to print and modify the forms without purchasing the full version of Acrobat.
Technologies that I use to accomplish this include VB.net, asp.net, SQL, ActionScript and an array of graphics apps (Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc.).
I usually do a 20% share for referral work, but would also consider subcontract work under negotiable terms. If you need hosting for Flash Remoting, I can assist with implementation on your own server, or offer hosting in this area aimed at developers.
For anyone interested, post messages here or my contact info can be found at http://www.signature-solutions.net (please contact by email).
Regards,
John
