View Full Version : Reference Resources for cPanel/PLESK
Hi,
Does anyone know of some good reference sites for cPanel and PLESK?
The product documentation is "ok" but I have always found that well written 'how tos' are much better.
The PLESK and cPanel forums are good as well (plesk in particular).
Anything other good places to look?

Plesk used to just have PDF's which were a tad on the annoying side (I don't mind them for some things, but for a manual.. no). I actually printed out the Plesk 2.0 (I think) PDF manual once, free to anyone who wants it, heh.
As for cpanel, someone once gave me this URL and I'll pass it on to you (though I mostly use the cpanel site's one): http://thehelpfactor.com/
That site is not too bad. I have written some tutorials on different things for PLESK. My main problem is with cPanel. For the longest time we have only been running PLESK servers and only recently added cPanel due to customer demand for it.
cPanel seems like a good idea that's well implemented, but not well documented. It could use some good tutorials on how to do different things like initial server configuration, nameserver setups, etc.

Well, I think cpanel has some decent documentation on the site:
WHM Docs (http://www.cpanel.net/docs/whm/)
cPanel Docs (http://www.cpanel.net/docs/cp/)
Downloadable cPanel/WHM Docs (http://www.cpanel.net/docs/)

Curiosity killed the cat. This is obviously a genericly branded tutorial/help site for some host's resellers. Who's? It is very well done.

I don't know who created that, who maintains it or has contributed to it, etc. But yes, nicely done.
