Hmm.. don't have a back yard. Live in a cozy apartment. But we are on the ground floor so we do have a small walkout patio with a BBQ grill and a table. But nothing worth taking pics of I don't think.

Holy Cow! I've never seen a backyard like that in my life! I guess you have no reason for a lawnmower, so that's good :p:
I'm out of town for the weekend, but I'll take a picture of mine on monday.

My parents have 40 acres thats just like 5 of them there. Then beyond our property is BLM land which extends about all the way to the base of the mount. We have a huge pull behind bush hog on a tractor, no lawn mowing :-D. Good thing though is we probably won't have neighbors behind us for another 20 years.

Don't have a backyard. My flat (or appartment to you american folks) has a balcony which looks onto the river avon. on the other side of that are the tewkesbury plains.

Envy you guys, esp. Chicken. I just spent 2 and a half hours "de-icing" my driveway which is just enough to park 2 cars. As TowerHost.com has posted, we have some nasty freezing rain in the last couple of days. My wife couldn't even get to work on Friday because I refused to either drive her to work or let her walk to take the bus (too slippery). And there was an 80-car pile-up on one of our major highway that day!

I don't have a backyard either (we live in an apartment).

Though we do have some palm trees and a pond (with ducks, fish, turtles, hurons, and various other forms of wildlife - no Gators or anything like that) in the center of the complex (which is just 20 feet from our building).

You're so close to Mexico do you ever have illegals trying to enter the US via your back yard?

We did have a problem when we first moved here for about the first 6 months. We would see the same sets of illegals come over again and again (border patrol picks them up sends them to mexico, then they just walk accross again). Back in September though we got 2 Bermese Mountain Dogs and haven't seen a illegal walk accross our property to date. Some friends of ours have a horse ranch about 4 miles closer to the border, they have a big problem with illegals. They will just walk through cut down the fence and leave it open, and of course the horses will escape.

Either a government testing facility is nearby or your digi-cam does interpret the colors of the sky in an interesting way. I kinda like it (and have a really cheap digi-cam that produces similar images). Quality is not one of its features (should have said so on the box), but the images are artistic! :D

You got a nice pool that's for sure. Maybe you should host a HHO Party. What do you think, we could get Timechange (all in good fun theo), Timmah, the founder of Cyberwings it would be great!

Deb
04-22-03, 05:30 PM
Could happen, but the odds of it happening this year are slim to none :(

Don't forget the pics I posted in my first post to this thread...particularly the one I took today:
http://www.picolio.com/Albums/album84/A_Foundation_04_22_03i.jpg

There's an addition being built so the pool is out of commission until it's completed due to nails and concrete dust etc...

It wont be completed until November or so

interactive
04-22-03, 05:33 PM
Dang oh well. Possibly something to look forward to ;). They way I see it, we could have Timechange tell all the jokes, and then we could play "pool ball" with Timmah, and Cyberwings.

But on a serious not, what sort of an addition is that going to be, with it right next to the pool and all?

Deb
04-22-03, 05:37 PM
Besides a master bath, master bedroom, pool bath, and small bedroom.... ONE HUGE HOME OFFICE!!!!!!!

Funny what happens when they find a natural spring under your home and the original addition begins to sink lol.... This new addition is the epitomy of turning huge sour lemons into sweet lemonade. :D

Let's see, we can take the money and try to repair the rotted side, or we can build a brand new bigger and better side..... ohhh such a tough decision :p:

Yeah, they're all tame. Some wild ones come and hang around with the tame ones outside though (but they don't come into the house).

My grandmother is a wildlife carer - each of the kangaroo's mothers have died (usually by car, or sometimes by people's cruelty) - most of them have been raised since tiny things with no fur.

Nice place you got there. Any chance of a HostHideout party? :) :) :) Im in East Lansing for school, and Detroit suburbs in the summer. Id offer my pool, but there are quite a few dead animals floating around, I assume they'll disintegrate over time, possibly by next year :) So when can I load up the minivan and head on over to Deb's place ? :) :)
