Just got my film developed and scanned from one of my flights around nyc. Thought I'd share this cool pic with you guys. (see attachment)

Seems they've done a good job of cleaning up. I'm not so sure about the replacement buildings being proposed, but I think even those sure of it probably feel a bit uneasy.

Wow it looks like they have done a great job cleaning up everything, I go to NYC about 10 times a year and I have just not had the heart to go visit it ever since 911.

During the summer of 2002 I had gone to NYC for a short weekend.

I visited where the buildings had been, and even at that time it was completely clean. It was a difficult experience, and it was clear that the events of 9/11 still had a huge impact on those who worked on and visited the site.

Back to the original post, are you flying a smaller aircraft mark? If so it would be neat if you had an online gallery of the NYC landmarks.

Thanks for sharing, it's a neat photo.

I went to ny in the summer - it rocked i didn't take a flight though, i had a helicopter flight over niagra falls. I only stayed in new york for a night though.

So Mark what camera did you use for the underwater shots? Same one in a water-proof housing or another? Just curious.

I went in them a few years ago. They were really great, its a shame and that pic stunned me.
