Where does files goes after deleted?

After deleting an account from the server, where does all those files gone to? Will it take up space in the server?

Do you need to remove all files manually?

What if the files contains of virus?

Is there a particular control panel you are using or is this just in general with any system? Win2K, cPanel, Plesk, various other linux and windows systems, etc...

I'm pretty sure CPANEL does an OK job of cleaning out all the files and removing them completely from the disk. If you are in doubt, here's what you can do to search for files on the machine through SSH.
Type and Run:
updatedb

And then:
locate filename

You can put partialfilename if you'd like. Hope this helps.
