I caught their $49.95 special just in time but had no time to try them out yet. Any experience would help :)

Been using, well involved, since the alpha stages. Started using it live about a week ago.

I really do enjoy the software. The developers decided to nail down basic functionality and are devoted to keeping things easy. That is why I like it over ModernBill, yes I own that too. With ModernBill you really have to think many times how to do something and other things are not exactly intuitive. CE is. What this means sicne it is just the 1.0 release is that it does lack some features but many things are planned.

I love the clientexec, very user friendly. Waiting to see more features too.

I use them and love it. I had ModernBill before and never really got up and running... it was just too complicated. If you're not a HUGE operation you don't need 1/2 the crap in MB... CE will work just fine for you and at a FRACTION of the cost. I can't reccommend it enough.

CE listens to their customers. Future releases are written based on user feedback and suggestions. That goes a loooong way in my book.

I'm gonna chime in. Better late than never. I've been using them snice the $50 they ran. I work with them during beta testing their next version 1.09 they're releasing soon (which will support Auth.net reoccuring billing).

I've ben very pleased thus far and working direclty with the developers on this project has been wonderful. This program is going places and there are a lot of features planned to make it better than it is.

Placer14, do you know when they will publicly release the version with authorize.net support?

It is in a very late beta stage; I would basically call it stable. I would assume there will be a public release in single digit days.

They are also working on recurring billing for Paysystems but won't beta it until the current beta is done...

FYI, I saw on their forums that the new version 1.093 is out, which includes support for Auth.net
