If I'm not chatting on a message board, answering emails, I'm coding. How many hours a day do you guys code? Be it C,C++,PHP,etc.

Was meant to be a poll but screw it. Anyways I code around 9-10 hours a day, monday through friday.

I code continuously, 'round the clock, 24 hours a day.

But of course, only with my left hand.

Not sure as to what that's supposed to mean?

It means I need my right hand for more personal things.

Ok I'll stop there. This is a discussion forum not a school yard ;).

Maybe 1 to 2 hours a day. Most of it is fixing client's sites and scripts, fixing errors on my own pages, or adding something here and there where needed. I guess once a week I actually sit down and code for 4 or 5 hours a day on a few projects I'm working on.

It must be nice to be able to code and perform DIY prostate examinations all at once. etLux has the skills to pay the bills, no question about it.

I would say depends on the project I'm working on. Once I get into a project, I'm coding anywhere from 15-24 hours at a time. It just feels good to get something finished. :c) Perl & MySQL is my flavor... but I really really want to get into php ... seems faster.

etLux.. are you trying to impress somebody with those comments?

I think he's just being immature. You mean you code 24 hours straight Sarah?

Varies.. lately not much because I've been doing other things. Typically, 2-5 hrs a day. Sometimes, 8-12 if I'm doing something that needs done quick....

Yes sometimes, but actually that would be false, because I stop and visit these boards ... :c)

I can currently code in C... little bit of PHP, so most of the time I spend coding is still me learning doing fairly small examples.

My biggest C project is still only Hangman (it was pretty good though!). I spend a few days doing that spending quite a few hours on it. I find it hard to think of a project for myself to do that is in my limits, otherwise I would be spending a lot more time coding.

Depends on the project, but usually about 4-6 hours M-F, sometimes all weekend.

Typically, I code from 2-6 hours per day (7 days a week) but some days I go 12-14 before I have to step away ang do something none computer related. Not like etLux, but anyhting that isn't on the computer so I don't get burnt out.

I am still learning how to code PHP, and besides that I don't know any others.
