Who do you use?

Just wondering who everyone uses as a payment processor.

We use Authorize.Net.

One of my sites I use paypal/egold strictly. Due to the problem with the type of site (just like hosting it naturally attracts frauds), I would have a ton of problems with fraud if I didn't. On another site I use 2co. I've worked with *********, it sucks cause of the fees. I worked on a project for a client with Echo-Inc and was real happy at the results.

We use innuity with our current bank, but we're probably going to be switching to authorize.net

I'm not sure 3rd party processors were what you were asking about, but I've only used 2Checkout and have accepted payments via PayPal for some random things.

I'm currently using LinkPoint with Cardservice... I've hooked up many scripts to authorize.net and it's resellers, I really like their interface the best. :c)

We use 2Checkout and PayPal. Both been excellent except 2Checkout messed up the wire payments last month.

Was it only last month there was a problem with 2Checkout? I had thought about going with them but then started seeing a lot of complaints so I held off. Other than problems last month they are good?

paynetsystems as been great for us, NOTE: not paysystems, but paynetsystems.

We have in the past used charge.com which is a authorize.net reseller and they where okay.

Yea..We had been using 2checkout for about 2 weeks. Realized, that it would be cheaper in the end to get our own merchant account ($10/mo.).

Too bad we lost $49 bucks.

Paypal, Moneybookers, Paysystems, and 2checkout. I have both 2checkout and Paysystems because inevitably when one's flakey, the other's having a good week...so I just switch back and forth.

I'm not at the financial breakpoint yet of moving to my own merchant account - just researched them so that I'll know what my options are when the time comes - but when I am ready to get my own merchant account, I'll have historical operating time behind me, which makes the banks feel all warm and fuzzy.

We are leasing Modernbill, way to much money right now to invest in that, and purchased a merchant account through ModernAuthorize. it's $10 dollars a month with nosetup fees.

We are very happy to have gone with Authorize.Net.

Currently using 2CO, which has improved recently, but are moving to Authorize.net as the volume of sales has risen to the point where the extra cost of a merchant account is saved with the transaction fees compared to 2CO.

Plus getting the deposits quicker allows us to earn interest on it instead of 2CO.

Not really looking forward to moving the clients from 2CO though. It was hard enough getting the recurring established since we use ClientExec and it does not support recurring 2CO transactions.

We're currently using PaySystems.

We switched from 2CheckOut in late September. Having used them for just over a month we could see that we weren't getting on - the techs were slow and useless and the servers were constantly down.

Now we're with PaySystems and we couldn't be happier. I recieve responses to my tickets within 1-2 hours weekdays and within 12 hours weekends (except with some depts. taht don't work weekends but we recieve a swift response early Monday).

there scripts just goto there site i want it to be on my site,

was thinking of trying wolrdpay but after the forums here i aint sure, know any other that offer payment pages (either on my server or theres) but with my template and design!

i have an account with natwest, if i did a form on my site and taken the details downto the bank could they do this for me? and also recure fee's every months?!!

Felxi, you will need an internet merchant account to pay into you bank account and you will need a payment service to transfer the money from the web into your merchant account. Some payment services support recurring billing.

It can take a while to get a merchant account but the benefits are lower charges and quicker payment into your account. A lot of banks like to see some accounts from trading or a business plan before thry will issue you with a merchant account.

The simplest option if you are just starting out is to use someone like WorldPay. They handle everything for you and pay the money directly to your bank account.
