Hello,

I'm in the process of looking for a replacement or additional payment processor for my hosting company. I'm currently using 2checkout.com but their site has been down a lot lately. Also, I would like to be able to offer an Affiliate program to help in promoting my site. I would prefer an affiliate program that's offered by the processing company. I've used 3rd party processors like www.verotel.com before and it works out well. They cut the check directly to the affiliate and handle the accounting.

I'd rather not use a 3rd party processor though because their rates are a lot higher. However, mine is a start up company and just breaking even. I don't think the site's making enough now to add the extra bill of a merchant account.

I just signed up for a free account with www.moneybookers.com
but I don't think they offer the affiliate program piece for my clients.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a newbie?

We use Ultimate Affiliate Software which ties directly into our H-Sphere system and most other hosting admin systems. It will not cut the check but is very good at all other tasks associated with an affiliate program. I have yet to find a better program. I would recommend checking it out >> http://www.groundbreak.com/

Hi!

********* I think provides a "built-in" affiliate program in their credit card processing.

Hi;

Ok, this is coming from an affiliate manager.

There are plenty of programs out there for you to choose from my shareasale and Kowabunga to Linkshare and commissions junction
main dif is the first 2 you run the prgram and pay only a small set up fee. LS and CJ you pay a high set up fee AND commissions on every sale that a affiliate generates.

So unless your making bundles...
go with the one of the first 2.

Drawback is you must have an affiliate manager as it is your program, you go out and find the affiliates and pay them. The tracking at kowanubga is great and I love the system ( I worked for them for awhille)
you can find them here. http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com

If you need other info, drop me a note, affiliate@hostdeal.com

Good luck and affiliate marketing is the way to go. Imagine having a sales force around the world and you ONLY pay them if they produce!!
