I do some tech support for a software company as side work and they just moved to this support system. So far, I must say I love it. But it apears to be somewhat new, and I haven't had much experience with it yet. Has anyone else used this?
The price isn't too bad, but was hoping to get some other comments from people who may have used it before :)
EDIT: Oops, I spelled the name of the product wrong in the title :o

Heh,
I just got it, and let me tell you I'm in love!
It looks like a nice product to me... haven't tested it personally.
I am waiting for phpManager's release of version 2, to see if they have straightened out some things and added a helpdesk (rumor has it this will be in there). If a helpdesk isn't added this round, cerbeus will likely get my money.

Yes, from what I have used of cerbeus it works great, and it is still a very young product. The only thing I'm wondering is about upgrading. Meaning if I purchase the 49 dollar one now, and want to upgrade to the full unlimited version, if they allow that or not. I will have to contact them and find out. Because as it stands now, the only need for the ticket system is for support, since the sales emails go to a different location and are handled differently anyway. But the option to have that down the road might be nice :)

Thanks for the kind words guys!
JeremyV: You are more than welcome to upgrade at any later date by just paying the difference. If you spend $49 now, you can apply that to a future purchase (for example $199 unlimited - $49 previous = $150 upgrade).

Hey Jeff, thanks for stopping by. I never did get around to pose that question over on your forums. But it is a great product and look forward to implimenting it most likely next week
I mean it looks great and for $49, can't beat that.
But we've been using PerlDesk (1.6) and all of our clients hate having to re-register and stuff. If there was a exporting feature, we may consider switching.
We have it and love it. So quick, feature-filled and they actually help and listen to you.. (support and requests)
I like it!
Craig :)

Hey guys:
JeremyV: Sounds great! Let us know if you need any help getting things set up. I'll add some additional contact info to my profile here.
Robert: We've had dozens of requests for database converters from various other e-mail management solutions to Cerberus. This looks like something that will definitely happen rather quickly. If you would like us to test with your existing database, drop me a note.
Craig (and everyone else): Thanks -- we appreciate your business. :) As the product matures, a larger portion of each update is dedicated to customer feedback and suggestions. Keep 'em coming!
Best regards,
Jstanden,
haha thanks for the offer but I'll pass. But do drop me an email at robert@verohost.com when you do offer that.
Thanks.

I use it. I prefer *********** over Cerberus though. The control panel is MUCH easier to deal with! Cerberus could touch up on the colors they use (red and yellow DO NOT mix). Maybe add some graphics for the reply / quote links.

Thanks for the feedback!
The colors in Cerberus can be fully customized to your preference through the stylesheet (cerberus.css).
As for the control panel, we've heard both sides: there are people who prefer only the daily-use functionality take up valuable screen 'real-estate', so they can quickly get to those features (our solution); and there are those who prefer they have 'one-click' access to everything from every screen (the path *********** took).
There are plans to further modularize the GUI in future versions with a template system so that it would be up to the local sysadmin/support team to choose what functional elements appear, and where.
We'll definitely keep those who are interested posted.
Best Regards,
