anyone had results with top ten sumbittiers within a given period?

you get alot of advertising companys offering top ten rankings in say 48 hours etc

i just cant help to think this is not possible?

have any of you tried this out and reaped the results?

I don't want to comment on other so-called guaranteed SEO services, but it IS POSSIBLE to get a website to the top of e.g. Google in a couple of days, DEPENDING on your desired SEARCH STRING(S). Like I said before, if you are thinking of "web hosting", you may simply forget it. And you canNOT be too greedy, like wanting a top ranking for each of your half dozen keyphrases.

I've never used a service but have talked to people who (at least proclamin) to know a thing or two about it, and their suggestions made sense, were implemented, and haven't seem to hurt any :D.

Getting listed in 2-7 days...sure.

Getting top ranked in even 7 days...NO. An uptrend might take a month to show...and another 2 weeks to stabilize (as long as others are not gunning for the same)

I agree with netspace. It also depends on whether the criteria of that particular search engine have been met.

yeah exactly, with google and many other search engines, link popularity plays a major part in the ranking system. i doubt anyone can increase your link popularity and for the search engine to index that information over a couple of days.
