Hi,

Is it possible to resize a flash without having to re-make it, I have got Flash MX to do it with does anyone know ?

Well you can just change the size that's set for the flash file in the html and it should change the size. Not sure if it will look good though.

So long as you keep the same ratio, it should look pretty decent. Alter the ratio and you're likely to have an warped, odd looking piece.

Hi,

I tryed playing around with the html size of it and it look out of place.

All I want to do is take some of the height out of it, in the flash itself to make it quicker to load, think I may just have to use the none flash version of it.

You would need the source file to do that.

I got the .fla file for the flash, just need to know how to cut, copy and paste which out starting from fresh

silvernetuk: if you have the original FLA, it's easy. Simply select Modify-->Document from the menu bar at the top and you'll see the dimensions of your movie. The only thing, as you pointed out, is that distorting it beyond the ratio of the original flash can cause undesired effects and distortion. If you have any imported pictures (JPGs, GIFs, PNGs, etc.) you may need to resize them to their original dimensions after you've resized the movie.
