The "scooby doo, where are you?" email was just plain hilarious... i haven't been at HHO much since i joined, so this made me remember about the forum.

For those who haven't seen this email...
--------------------------
Simon,

You're looking at my signature, humming the Scooby Doo theme song, and thinking, "Professionals, eh?" I'm
thinking it's been at least a week since you last came to the forum and that means one of four things:

1) You meant to lurk, but were triple dog dared to register by a friend.

2) You would have lurked had you know Chicken was going to email you about how you never visit.

3) You registered by accident, probably one night when you were hopped up on No-Doze™.

4) Your too busy trying to beat the neighbors' holiday displays, and you're currently outside right now
stapling six million holiday lights to your house.

Regardless, even though you never visit, never call, and don't even send us a flippin' postcard to tell us
that you're still alive, we still want to wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday (to those who
celebrate Thanksgiving). Also, if you need some extra cash to buy that turkey you plan on deep frying in
the backyard even though your significant other won't hear of it, considering selling your extra servers,
cases, components, routers, switches, racks, etc. (heck -even computers, laptops, digital cameras, etc.)
in the new Server & Hosting Hardware For Sale forum! http://hosthideout.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=65

Again, hope you have a great turkley day (note: that's turkey, not chicken day), and be well.

P.S. If your answer was number 4 above, then when you turn them all on, I'll easily be able to identify
you.

Hilarious, and because of that, i will now be posting more frequently on HHO

Yes, that was pretty funny, that's why I'm here, lurking for someone to create this very thread ;)

Yes, I was lucky enough to receive it as well...... Unless he sent it to everybody? :D

I do lurk, but that made me dig up my password in order to post again.

Cheers everybody!

Guilty as charged... although I have lurked lately, just not logged in. However, I do believe I'll head over the VDS forum now. That should be fun. Thanks Chicken!

Only if I haven't seen you in a little over a week (or more), which make us . Though I did want to wish everyone a happy holiday as well...

I loved it, though I had just been here two days ago, it made me stop on by this morning when I got it, just to lurk about and see what was going on.

I have a feeling vBulletin doesn't keep 100% accurate records on when everyone comes. Next time I'll just yell and punish everyone (in a teacherly fashion)...

"OK, who didn't come this week?"

*no one raises their hand*

"You all have detention then!"

So let me get this straight..

People who hardly ever visit get a email and those who visit frequently get nada.. zippo, niente, nothing.

I think I will stop coming so I can get an email. :D

Robert, that thought had crossed my mind too, lol. What I really want to take up with Chicken, though, is that after reading the email, I have the Scooby Doo theme song stuck in my head!

Same here, song stuck in head, won't go away. Just like being at home when my son is watching a marathon of old Scooby Doo episodes for the umpteenth time!!!

Scooby-Dooby-Doo (http://home.earthlink.net/~strawbrn/midi/ScoobyDoo.mid), Where Are You?
We got some work to do now.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You?
We need some help from you now.
Come on Scooby-Doo, I see you... pretending you got a sliver
But you're not fooling me, cause I can see, the way you shake and shiver.

You know we got a mystery to solve, So Scooby Doo be ready for your act.
[Scooby Doo] Uh-uh Uh-uh
Don't hold back!
And Scooby Doo if you come through you're going to have yourself a scooby snack!
That's a fact! Scooby-Dooby-Doo, here Are You.
You're ready and you're willing.
If we can count on you Scooby Doo,
I know you'll catch that villain.

Anyhow, those who are here will see the posted Thanksgiving wishes, plus someone always posts the email so you get it one way or another :D
