You know when you load up a new computer, get it all ready, install the printer software and it BSoDs you a few times (which is always a bit perplexing), but then everything acts normally, and you figure OK, it's installed (finally), then go to print something, get the Device not Ready error, check all the driver settings, uninstall the drivers, reinstall the latest drivers from the web site, try again, still Device not Ready, unplug the power to the printer, fire it back up again, etc., repeat, and still get Device not Ready...
-then realize you never unplugged the printer cable from the old computer and plugged it into the new one...

I hate when I'm sick (which I am).
