:whythis:
You know when you load up a new computer, get it all ready, install the printer software and it BSoDs you a few times (which is always a bit perplexing), but then everything acts normally, and you figure OK, it's installed (finally), then go to print something, get the Device not Ready error, check all the driver settings, uninstall the drivers, reinstall the latest drivers from the web site, try again, still Device not Ready, unplug the power to the printer, fire it back up again, etc., repeat, and still get Device not Ready...

-then realize you never unplugged the printer cable from the old computer and plugged it into the new one...

 :usehead:  :banghead:

I hate when I'm sick (which I am).

lol. I can top it.

About 1 1/2 years ago I thought it would be neat to build my bestfriend a new computer for the hell of it. He had a POS Compaq that was like 5 years old. His father had just passed away about 3 years ago and his mom and him weren't doing so well.

So I built him the computer and gave it to him.. a nice 1.7Ghz with 512mb of ram, 80GB hard drive, 40x burner, dvd, etc.

So I gave it to him and he told me the sound wasn't working.

So he brought it back to me, I connected the speakers and low and behold, the sound didn't work! I was confused. So I played around with the settings and NO Sound. But the system didn't complain, it told me everything was fine.

So I installed and reinstall XP like 2 times when I found the problem.. I had connected the speakers into the wrong hole. Duh!

Yeah, and reinstalling XP a few times makes you want to kill yourself.
