I recently purchased a Dell Latitude D600 from a coworker and after a few weeks of enjoyment i started having problems with word excel and other minor things. I decided that the best thing to do since it was new to me was use the recovery disks but when i inserted them it asked for an administrative password which i never set. I contacted the seller who contacted his son who had been using the computer and all the passwords that he thought it may have been did not work. Now i dont know what to do and i cant reinstall without the password. Is there any way to make it default to a password of my choice or to find out what that password is??? Dell help line sent me in loops. Can anyone help????????
