Hey Tasha, glad you could make it all the way from Wisconsin!
Welcome aboard!! Glad to have you.
welcome fellow cheese head:D
We just sent all the cheese heads home, but we call them snow birds! When our temps get into the 70's they all leave. When it hits 115 it is just us die hards here

Ahh now I know why I love living in the desert (I grew up in North Idaho, it's not like I don't know snow). Isn't it keyweb? God Bless Arizona :D
I have had my share of snow and cold weather. When I was a kid many moons ago I lived out in the plains of Montana (Miles City). Then I have lived in places like Denver and Salt Lake City. The the high humdidy of the Southeast (Orlando, Huntsville, AL). I'll take this dry heat any day. When it hits 95 in the Southeast you are sweltering (90% or more humidity), while here 95 is quite pleasent with 5-10% humidity. Here it is just warm when it hits 110, starts getting hot after about 115 :fork:
Only problem here is that the crazys come over from the Los Angeles area on weekends  Lake Havasu is a real popular boating area, right on the Colorado River. And of course we have the London Bridge here. We are also right in the middle of Spring Break. This is reported to be the 3rd most popular spring break area. We have between 20,000-40,000 college kids decend on our city and lake during this 6 week period every spring.
BTW, it is supposed to be in the mid 80's today.

True, summers are miserable here in Huntsville during the summer, but on the flip side, right now, I've been running around doing errands today in shorts and a t-shirt.
Yup, are you having your day of spring today
I remember one year when it lasted two days.
Around here we run around in shorts and tee shirts about 10 months out of the year. It gets really cold during the middle of the winter, sometimes even dropping down into the 40's at night.
I spent 12 years in Huntsville before moving back west. Put in my slave time at SCI for about 3 years, then to Sparta for 8 before devoting full time to web programming and system admin.

I bet the package stores are doing good where you there though (with all the college kids), not that that is really a good thing. The Huachaca's (sp?) are covered with like 1 foot of snow. I guess last weekend a boy scout group went up there and camped and got snowed in. Only in Arizona.

When were you in Huntsville? I moved here in 1986 from Ohio. BTW, I work on a project with some folks from Sparta. Small world, huh?
I was in Huntsville from 1987 to 1999, and at Sparta from 1990-1997. Maybe you are working with someone I know.

Could be. I've worked with them on and off since 1992.
