Problem with icons showing new posts on main page.

For some reason when I first come to the site it will show all of the forums with new posts in it with the blinking letter. However, if I go into one of the forums when I come back to the main page it doesn't show which of the other forums had new posts anymore.

Anyone else having this problem.?

I don't have that problem, but I think I'll change that to a non-blinking gif (not that that really addresses your question). I remember someone posting a new on gif at vbskins "because some people couldn't see it" -not sure if that's what they meant in that post (your problem).

No I don't think thats it. I kinda like the blinking one actually.

Might have something to do with Mozilla.

Strangly I just noticed after viewing a forum and going back to the main page; when I scroll all the way to the bottom it is showing the same non-blinking icon for both the forums with new posts and the forums without new posts.

So the problem is somewhere there.

So I scroll to the bottom, click on forum leaders. Now when I go back to the main page it works. very very strange stuff if you ask me.. :chicken:

Seems to be a problem with Mozilla displaying the gif images. Don't worry about it. I figured a way around it.
