i've done some searching around the net, and this messageboard, and can't seem to find any relevant information.

I'd like to disable pop3 access on some of my e-mail addresses but can't seem to find a config file for cppop.. am I looking for the wrong thing?

I know this is possible as I have a Mail Server which this can be done with one setting.. but for windows, the mail software is all inclusive, meaning one program takes care of POP3/IMAP/SMTP... with CPanel it's 2 separte ones, right (exim & cppop)?

does anyone know how to disable pop3 access on a given email account? is this just a limitation of the Cpanel/WHM package, does cppop not allow much tweaking?

any help would be appreciated..

server:

linux 9.0
cpanel/whm

I have root access

Couldn't you set the accounts max email accounts to 0?

no, I think you misunderstood what i'm asking for..

I want to be able to disable pop3 on certain email addresses.. ex: mail@mydomain.com would have pop3 /imap / smtp access, while mail2@mydomain.com would only have imap/smtp access

is that more clear?

thanks

Oh okay, I see now. I'm not sure how you'd achieve that.

Good luck though.
