i have been looking at echoinc.com but money is tight sence i am launching the site very soon. (advertising and what not)
or is wating to build up a little cash and go for echoinc my best bang for the buck?
is there anyother merchent account provider besides the likes of 2checkout and others.

ive done a lot of searching but i havent found one where they charge an arm and a leg for there fees.

I recommend that you wait until you have a decent stream of clients, before you go with echo inc. I'd start out with 2checkout if I were you.

Might be the best advice. How much are you currently processing (both total monthly and average sale)?

Most of the third-party merchant processors seem to be having problems right now. I looked at all the options and decided Paysystems would be the best for me. Their reps assured me that the downtime problems would soon be resolved... hope so.

If you can afford it, I'd suggest WorldPay. They're backed by a pretty good bank so you can't go wrong. A friend of mine is with them and has had no problems at all.
