ASM installation problem

I have been trying to install ASM for quite awhile now. The installation seems to go well, however, when it is done the install I go to the page (using the port I specified) and try to log in (using the information i provided) and it gives me an "Invalid username/password" error. and if i try to go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/admin it gives me a 403.

Can anyone help me? :(
