Now, I know everyone is going to ask for all sorts of add-ons, smilies, etc., but to me, quick reply is just that, *quick reply* and if you weigh the pages down with smilies it increases load time and I'm trying to avoid that. So I'm not planning on adding anything to the quick reply boxes. There's always reply for all the other stuff, eh?

Maybe it still needs some work... is this better?

Hmmmmm... if ti just said, "Originally posted by Chicken:" wouldn't we all know it was a quote? Wouldn't anyone? Maybe the word "Quote" isn't needed.

I like "Originally posted by..." better. I don't think you need the word quote.

OK, so be it. if you want it to say anything else, such as:

Words posted by Chicken that are so brilliant that I'm going to repeat them:

Blah blah blah
Then you can change it yourself in the reply box ;) :D This will just be the default. Although, I do kinda like the second one... hmmmm.

hmmm, that seems to only happen when you quote the original post, and then quote posts which quoted the original post. It's a vB thing, I didn't change that, so it would have always done that. Just seems really obvious when you are quoting quotes and testing like this. Usually it isn't an issue, which is why I doubt you've noticed it before on any vB forum.

Well, the quick reply is nice.. I do like the little smilies next to it myself (and I'm even on dialup). The load for this site is fairly quick, I don't think it'd be much of an issue as the images would cache after the first load or two anyways, but it's your site. :)

It looks a bit like those multi forwarded chain emails you get from AOL members :p:

Urrrrgggghhhh yes. Apparently in AOL you don't open the actual (last email) ??? And then when they forward the email, it forwards allllllllll the bloody emails? Always nice to open up 15 emails, only to find out that it's a "boycott gas on Tuesday" message. I know which emails to delete now, and if the message isn't there in one click, I delete it.
