Adam sent me a screen shot and I was just wondering how many other people see header in the screen shot. You should only see it if you come in through findspforums.com not through hosthideout.com (which will have an ad sometime soon, but now doesn't).

As you know i see it through HostHideout.com....this wasn't the case until around one hour ago.

I know it should only happen thru FSP as i tested that but for some reason i get it via the HHO domain now.

I'm not sure why that happened, however I've manually changed it back. Odd...

Everything looks normal to me (without header) via hosthideout.com. If that's how it will eventually look, I don't really care for it. It takes up too much space plus eliminates the HHO logo which could throw someone off. But, that's just my opinion and since I don't own the forums, you're free to add them how you please Mr. Chicken! :D

Mark i thikn the ones you saw previously (FindSPForums.com version) is actually just a "co-brand" whereby other sites will use the HHO forums but in their own style. So basically giving the impression they have their own forums when in reality its powered by HostHideout.com.

Chicken will have to put adverts in plce i know thats right but my honest opinion is he won't fill up the header with as much stuff as what FSP fills it up with. Maybe just a single banner which isn't really a problem.

Yes, I meant just a single banner. It's pretty mellow.

The co-brand is less to give the impression that they have their own forums, rather more to give related sites forums for their visitors without the work. It might be buggy though and I'll have to take a look at it.

If you didn't sign up through FSPForums, never have gone here via that link, etc., then there's a bug somewhere. If you go through there, it's supposed to set a cookie to stay on that style (less confusion all around). It may not be working properly. That was the first co-brand we tried and I thought it was fine, but that was the purpose of trying it. Working out the little buggies.

Yeah, this is confusing me. You'd think either it would happen to all or none, but it's just a couple. I'm not sure what the link is there (what they have in common).

When I was switched to mod status...I suddenly had the FindSP header and it wont go away. Of those seeing it, 'that shouldn't be' has possibly something changed with their forum statuses or permissions?

OK, I think I figured out the common link between all of you. All of you who see the findsp style coming from HHO have had something changed in your profile in the admin cp (could be username, signature, some other edit or notation, etc.). At least that's what I think it is. I know Dana has had something changed as well, which is a bit confusing, but aside from her, that is one common thing I think everyone has (I might be wrong).

When I load up your profile in the admin cp, the style is listed as findsp, even though it might not be (I'm guessing). Once something is done and then submitted, I believe it is keepig the style set, and switching it at that time.

Both Deb and exasko have had profile changes today, and both have been switched. That's been the best info so far as to finding out the problem.

Thanks Chicken... no longer do I have that tacky banner, I hated it. I like the normal one better :D

Now, I don't know why it lists findsp as everyone's style set when you view the profile, as that seems to be the root of the problem.
