I never knew there was a free cPanel... May I ask where you got it from so I can get it myself?

Check out webmin or webcp.

Nxpanel is NOT cPanel. It's a totally different product.

nxPanel is the only Free Control Panel for windows I think.

Then
WebCP and Webmin is two really good ControlPanels for Linux
and Free

i would really recommend you not do windows hosting, and just stick to the norm of running linux/freebsd for your webhosting business.

if using linux, i recommend ababa: http://web.yupapa.com/pccs.gateway?chnl=webservice_ababacp2

good luck :)

I dont think so because IIS in windows XP can only handle
10 online on the site at the same time.

You can check ZPanel here http://thezpanel.com/ - free Windows and Linux control panel designed to work with Apache server.

For a linux box i recommend vhcs (vhcs.net) its very nice, and works quite nicely.

Don't touch Zpanel, its horrible. Unreliable and few features. I hate it... I have to use on my friends web server - YUK.

Hello everyone,

Not sure if you have been looking around recently but their is a great control panel out there that promises to be very successful in the near future. Not only does it manage VPS and dedicated servers but it has a built-in billing system.

Take a look at their demo and see what you think. www*hmspanel*com

I have been talking to some folks that know the developers and some neat features are being developed for future releases. Keep an eye on these guys.

Cheers!

Hi,
If you are starting a hosting service you probably don't want to use a free panel.. Usually people are attracted to cPanel Hosts.... And later if you wanted to switch to cPanel, or Plesk... It would be a nightmare. Free control panels aren't managed like the big brand ones are... They are harder to use, have less features, and may be unsecure.. This is from personal experience. If you look at some of the free control panel sites you will see that the last reslease was in 2005... I have tried using free panels and a home 'server' (a 10 year old PC) and the host was just crap. So, you might want to consider a reseller with cPanel, Plesk, or DirectAdmin (not the best).
