Any comment on CPANEL 6 for those already upgraded?

Everything seems good for us too.

Funny that this is pretty much what is expected with many "upgrades" (not just cPanel). I remember when I had a Cobalt and the response about a new update was almost identical, "It didn't break the machine... yet!"

Arrggh....basically, I am asking..."any comments"!

I do know that there ain't much problem and is much better that CP 5, too buddy!.

Well, another intention is to make this forums more lively and get the ball roll....

Feature support seemed kind of lacking for a major release. I'm a little ticked they STILL haven't fixed the DNS Zone modification (any reseller can access DNS zones they don't own), nor do they allow resellers to modify accounts.

All in all, in the actual GUI it wasn't worthy of the "major release" title.

Sorry, access and modify, any of the DNS settings on any domain. Seems like more of a security issue then some of the bug fixes they decided to release in 6.
That's the one issue I have with CPanel. Big security holes and bugs like that aren't fixed, yet they go and make tiny little changes. Seems like their priorities are a bit messed up.

Hmm...you can actually block it in WHM, and uncheck it.

Yes. It's just a simple matter of properly setting your privileges ... I just confirmed that still holds true in 6.x too.

Go to the reseller center, under Edit Reseller Privileges and uncheck Edit DNS Entries.

We just upgraded to the lastest version of Cpanel6 and had a few bugs (phpmyadmin wasn't working, some e-mail addresses got deleted). Other than that, it's pretty stable.

I just feel it's the best CP out there that offers the most features to the end-user.
