LETTER OF REFERNECE #1
February 19th, 2003
To Whom it May Concern

I have known Tawnya for two years and have taught her in the Design Studies program. For both the 10 and to level, she has had to work hard to achieve her credits.

In the Design Program, she has used CorelDraw, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD R14. and DesignCAD. For modeling and animation, she has worked with RayDream and Maya. Tawnya does well at transferring/applying skills/knowledge from one application to another. She has well-rounded technology skills that she applies in her other courses. Tawnya also continues to develop her creative/artistic skills as was evident when she was working with Adobie PhotoShop.

Tawnya is an outgoing and socialable person. She works well with other people either as a leader or as a general group member. In areas of confidence, she is very willing to share her expertise with her classmates. Tawnya is a capable student and I believe she will work hard to excel in any area of her choosing.

Sincerely,
Ms. T. Brogan
Design Teacher/CTS Curriculum Leader
Lester B. Pearson High School.

---------------

LETTER OF REFERNECE #2
To Whom it May Concern

I would give my unqualified support for Tawnya is any job that she applies for. I have known Tawnya since the beginning of the year and found her to be a diligent conscientious student. She is a lively, thoughtful people who would be an asset to any work environment. She is a very pleasant in class and strives to complete her tasks in a timely fashion. Tawnya has obvious artistic talents and has completed some excellent project during the course of the year.

Did you make that from scratch or color over a photo? It's very good for that style.

You might want to add what sort of jobs specifically you are looking for, both in terms of time and workload.

For instance, are you looking for something where you would work 8 hours a day (full time employee in other words, which might be illegal at your age so unlikely :) ), or a few hours every M-W-F, or contract type work where you are given a project and a timeframe to complete it.

And also, what specific areas you most want to work in...digital design, web site design, customer service, etc. If you give readers a few ideas of what roles you could fill, you stand a better chance of finding those roles.

Just my two cents. :)

I might hire you to do up some images like that of the staff here for an about us page (that is slow coming). How much would that run me? Keep in mind I'd have to pass it by staff to see if they'd like something like that, or if they'd prefer to use actual pictures, etc.

I don't expect much its definitely negotiable. I'm just trying to make as much money on the side to go towards my gear for soccer this summer. So even if I got the job I'd appreciate it. Anything that is fair! :)

If you had drawn that from scratch, I would have been amazed. ;)

It is very well done nonetheless, you should make a portfolio and include it.

20 pounds off your face? That wouldn't leave you with much. ;)
