Hi all,

I have owned my own web design company for about 4 years now, and have recently branched off and formed a seperate hosting company Razor Hawk (http://www.razorhawk.com).

About 30 of my clients host with me as of now, and I am looking to create an initial marketing campaign. I would like some ideas of:

1. How to reach clients initially
2. Good ongoing marketing campain
2. How many accounts should I expect to sign up each month (shared hosting only. I offer 5mb - 1,000mb plans)
3. How much should I spend for initial campain

I know that these questions don't have exact answers, but your experience will help me out a great deal. I am currently:

1. Participating in forums and leaving a coupon code of 20% of in my signature
2. Sending out about 50 emails a night directly to small web designers/Independants
3. Making cold calls

Again, thank you for any input you may have, as well as any expectations/goals you can offer me,

Dave

Even if they were on a list I bought? I guess it's not the best marketing in the world, but the email is in html and is very simple. It basically gives them the coupon code to enter on my site when entering their order.

I would appreciate your input as far as what to do, in addition to what not to do though.

WOM = Word of Mouth. We let our HAPPY clients talk about us. They give the best advertising.

We work with a great number of SMB's. Both myself and my partner know people in the industry so we can call on people in companies that would need our services such as off-site data backup or distaster recovery solutions ect.
