Hello,

I have a nokia 7210, and am building a wap site so I can get wallpapers and ringtones to my phone. I have read pretty much every website on the language, and have most of the coding figured out. But the one thing that I can't seem to find out how to do is allow the phone to save the pic or tone. As in, I have a download link, and I want to be able to have my phone ask to save it to my gallery. I do not want to display the image at all. I would appreciate any suggestions, as I'm willing to try anything to get this to work!!

Thanks in Advance :)

I dont think its possible to automatically open a menu asking to 'download' the image... you need to save the image using the phones menu, if it does not have the menu more than likely you cant download using WAP :)

Yeah thats what I thought.

You have to send such files to your phone using media messaging or data cables.

isn't ther esome special format that specific phones use to receive information. I didnt think you could just make any WAP enabled page and put regular content on it.

I'm kinda curious about this as well, does anyone have any information they can share?

hey,

one of my pages used to be wap - an update page, tho i took it down - no one used it but yeah it isnt that much different

You need to use XML features more than anything.

Heres a tutorial if your interested, http://www.w3schools.com/wap/wap_intro.asp
