The Nugget: Training to be a moderator
The video mpeg almost a minute long, 10-ishMB big (so if you don't have a fast connection, it probably isn't worth it).
Turn up the volume! :D
Right click and save as (connection might not be fast enough to stream)

So when you retire (as a moderator), you could be an MTV director. ;)
you know, when he's clicking the mouse around the 33th second... I bet you he's thinking: "this is what papa chicken does a lot, but I don't see the benefit of this thing yet..."
and yes, nice editting there chickenmeister.

Actually, that mouse was the "dummy one" which was tied to the baby gate and not connected to anything. Often my wife would leave her mouse close to it and he'd go for that one. He realized that that one did something on the screen and he'd always mess up what ever she was working on, heh.
As for the MTV director, welllll... I may have a bit more to go until that. that was my first effort on adding background music, ajusting the vloume, and adjusting the speed, etc., to match everything with Studio 7. Pretty cool, but hopefully the next one will be better.

You know... geez, I barely remember the first computer I had - well, actually - I don't remember anything about it except that the computer had the huge floppy disks and also it could take in gaming cartridges so I just used to play games on it all the time... but when I was little, I remember going outside and getting down and dirty in the mud while racing bicycles and dodging cars etc... (this was back when I was still living in S.Korea)
Now, the first computer my parents bought was a 486DX 33MHz 800MB of HD Space, 4mb of ram, with a crappy dot matrix printer that shook the earth when I printed something out. Didn't even know what the internet was until we subscribed to AOL.
All kids nowadays are gonna be born with a computer and the internet - I wonder what this generation will be like in the future. When your McNugget is all grow'd up Chicken... you can tell him about the wonderful times when there weren't 4 desktops and 2 laptops per family... there was no such thing as forum moderation... just a picture of his papa in a yellow :chicken: suit looking like he was going to pounce at the camera :D

My first computer: TRS80 Model III. Saved all data to cassette tapes. I had a bunch of games, but no word processing capabilities, so I actually had to program :).
I also used to get into fights with a kid at school over which was better my TRS80 or his Timex Sinclair

My first computer is a Japanese or Taiwan clone (I lived in Hong Kong back then) of Apple IIe that a friend of mine loaned me for the summer. Yes, it used audio cassette tapes to store data. I remember writing a simple BASIC program that bounced a "ping-pong" on the screen. Those were the days.

Ahhh yes, the Timex Sinclair 1000. 3.25MHz processor, 2K of RAM and that damn cassette recorder. I remember that well. We had one, and it took about 30 minutes to load a program that basically printed your name. Quality computers made by the leader in computing, Timex. I hear they make watches or something these days ;)
Then there's the Radio Shack TRS-80, but that model III you linked to was more of a machine than the original models, and quite a bit beefier (and more expensive) than the Timex.
Rather than hijack the McNugget's post (and to avoid getting moderated by him :D). I started a new thread:

Tell us about your first computer.

So he's been told many times. I think his head may grow bigger than the rest of his body once he starts understanding it! ;)

Nah -- I think most babies are told this repeatedly -- of course in his case it is true :).
