I like the WHMCS ticket system, mostly because its easy and is already implemented into the billing system, although it does not have the most features. Of course I think using seperate billing software and support software could slightly frustrate clients since they would have to register for both, unless you were to make them use the same database for accounts.
I just looked at Kayako and it does look pretty nice, I may take that free trial and check it out.

WHMCS has Kayako intergation so the 2 work as one

I would advise playing around with the system and see if it does everything you need. The latest versions have been adding quite a bit of more features that make using the built in system smooth to run. If it doesn't then go for Kayako and yes it does integrate into WHMCS.

I don't believe osTicket has any easy integration with WHMCS.

I Like Kayako To be Honest pritty Nice Styled Have you tried to intergrate
I think WHMCS works fine for us but if you have many employees scattered in different locations (like a host I know who does that for 24 hour support so nobody has to work "nights") then Kayako is better--or if you have 100's of tickets a day.

We have been testing the WHMCS integration with kayako and the biggest negative thing about it is that you can't click to the users details directly.
And that's one of the nicest additions to the WHMCS ticketing system :)
Makes our lives a bit easier
Well we will see because I'm about to start testing the same thing... now I'll know one thing to look forward to
I really think you should stick with WHMCS. Not that kayako isn't nice, but there really isn't much of a need for it, since most customers really won't see a big difference.

Customers won't see a big difference .. but Kayako has different methods of applying SLA's to clients and escalates tickets automagically.
That's one of the big advantages.

IMO Kayako never really blends in to well with whmcs or most websites. Its always very obvious when you use kayako.

WHMCS works great for the average person. Kayako is for those who have the budget and ready to takes things to another level in the sense that they have more ready to use tools.

WHMCS ticketing system works well for us. I have tried kayako on my own for a software company a few years back, and it was pretty good as well. Unless whmcs isn't doing something you can get only from kayako, and you want that, stick with whmcs.
If it's not broken don't fix it.

Kayako really is nice with all the features ... Since the WHMCS ticket system is integrated and no extra cost it also is a good option. Like they say if it works good for you now why change ....
I use WHMCS and think it's great not a big fan of Kayako and i have the budget for it..

Kayako does have a lot of features and is pretty nice however the new version of WHMCS has come a long way with the ticketing system. It is still not as good as Kayako but why pay for more features when all that is needed is already in WHMCS.

Not a big fan of the WHMCS ticket system, if you have the funds available I'd go with Kayako for tickets.

We integrated Kayako with our WHMCS after using WHMCS for a long time. The main reason we got Kayako was because we wanted the live chat, but now we have it, we realise how much better than WHMCS tickets are. Although the integration is currently broken because of WHMCS v4, normally the inegration is great. I really recommend the Kayako suite.

Personally I think the WHMCS ticket system itself is good. It is also very convenient because your billing and support system are integrated into one piece of software, making it easier for both you and your clients.

We were actually using Kayako before whmcs, so we stuck with that system, but the integration between the two products works very nicely.

WHMCS is a bit limited for us as a ticketing system, so we use it in combination with Kayako.

Kayako is very nice but I still would stick to WHMCS ticket system because it's cheaper and has all features that you need.
We use Kayako, cause they are the most advanced ticket system. Also you can notice that major companies are using Kayako.

I personally don't like the idea of using third party script for helpdesk. By using built in ticket system, you are keeping things organized and simple. There is no need of Kayako if you are not a big company and if you have thousands of tickets coming in, i still think WHMCS ticket system works well.

Why I wonder? In any case I can agree with you regarding outsourcing support. but not about third party applications. Please explain this for us.
I have no idea about this .

I guess it depends on your needs. I like the basic ticket system in WHMCS and the license is very cheap, but if you need more, then Kayako is a great solution.

I have been using the WHMCS ticket system for over 3 years and haven't had any issues with it. I enjoy the fact that its integrated into the rest of WHMCS which makes it easier to control everything!

Same, we did investigate Kayako some time ago when we started, though with the small number of tickets we get, we've stuck with WHMCS as it gives us what we need ad ties back to customers nicely without having to spend the time integrating.
yes u should stick to whms ticket service.
