Do any of you own a Nissan Murano or 350z? If so, I'd like to know what you think of either one, would you recommend it, just generally the good, bad, and the ugly.
If you own something similar, or looked at these cars but bought something else, what and why? $30K is about the maximum, so don't tell me you bought a $50K car... remember... teacher... wife stays home... child...
Teachers make like what? $250,000 a year? :D

Yeah, just about that, minus a couple hundred thousand, minus a couple tens of thousands...

Have you looked at the Infinity G35 Coupe? It is similar to the 350Z, with the benefit of a backseat. I currently have a Honda S2000 and although it is a great car, only having two seats does have it's disadvantages.

I'm pretty sure the Infinity G35 Coupe (http://www.safetyalerts.com/recall/a/02/v00358.htm) is over $30K no?

Just barely, depends on the deal you can make.
The base model invoices at 26700 per yahoo. Depends on the deal you can make. Maybe just tell them who you are!!:chicken:

No, if you go by way of the Bahamas. Being in Florida it was closer and cheaper for me then LA.
If you want to know more just PM me or something I dont want to hijack Chickens thread.

I second the Infiniti G35. In my wealthier days, I used to drive a GS400 (http://www.isightinc.com/GS400/For_Sale/). And I haven't been excited about a mid-priced luxo-sport car since the GS400. It's an impressive luxo-sport and if I had the dough, would seriously consider the G35. IMO, it's a better design and car than the Z. Go sit in both. In some cases, it's less expensive too. For a better built car, there's no reason not to look if you're considering a Z. I would say some bits and pieces in the car seemed cheap, but nothing out of the ordinary for 30K entry level luxury vehicle. They did a good job with the car in my opinion -- and I'm a Lexus fanatic.
