Hiya all!

I am very happy to announce HOSTicket.Com, an outsourced tech support company that will provide sensible commitments and keep those commitments - at an affordable price.

I have teamed up with 3 others in different time zones to provide good quality tech support that is as courteous as it is competent.

Pricing is simple: 1.50$ per ticket, to be purchased upfront in lots of 50 tickets.

Response time is 6 hours for ticket response and 24 hours for resolution [these are the max.. it can be as good as 10 minutes for resolution]

I have used my superior design skills to create an outstanding site. http://www.HOSTicket.Com .. you can send me a mail after the effect of the awe inspiring design has worn off!

You can see some customer feedback here..

Motley,

A couple of questions if you dont mind.

I remember reading on another forum that you offer server admin assistance. Can you provide some pricing on this? Would it be possible to get a discount by paying x amount in advance, say $500?

And another kind of off-beat question. Can I pay for an hour of your services, where you would make an email or file with the most basic everyday server management commands, and routines? Im basically looking for good search terms that I can use on WHT and google, and having some idea on drawing connections.

Thanks again,

Matt

Sure! My pleasure!

Yes. I offer server administration support for Linux and FreeBSD at 75$/mo per server. This includes 10 hours of work on the server per month - now that I have a team, we can offer 24/7 server monitoring and support at 125$/mo.

My earlier page on server admin is here

I cant discount any further, my prices are the lowest ! :)

Nice question! You want us admins to starve or what? ;)

It will be quite difficult to list all commands used and for you to use it to google or man wont take you anywhere.

For example, I will simply list netstat or ps auxefw and it wont take you anywhere if you man or google on it!

Your best bet is to get an intro book on the design of Linux, process management, basic system admin etc

Thanks again,

Matt
